Airport

Granbury takes great pride in its Regional Airport located 2 miles from Historic Downtown Granbury. In 1999, the Aviation Division of the Texas Department of Transportation named the Granbury Airport the "Most Improved Airport of the Year." And more improvements are on the horizon. The current runway of 3,603 feet will be expanded to 5,200 feet to accommodate more corporate aircraft. Expected completion date is 2015.

Highways

  • U.S. 377 provides a direct link to Interstate 20 and Dallas/Fort Worth

  • SH 144 connects Granbury to Highway 6 which links to I-35
  • Loop 567 serves as the designated truck route on the north side of the city and was completed in 2013

Future Highway Projects:

  • The Cresson Relief route is expected to commence in 2014 and will include an overpass over the railroad to avoid delays.
